Ms. Richmond's debut novel couldn't be more timely or entertaining. Just as Stan Lee addressed the most pressing social issues of his time through superheroes, Ms. Richmond has employed a similar method to engage readers of historical, dystopian, and fantasy genres. Her message is worthy of a broad audience, and her writing is sound, especially for a debut author.
