Rural Louisiana, summer of 1957, Elvis is King. At 14, Dani is coming of age. Her older sister is beautiful, smart, and off to Duke in the fall; her mom's pregnant with number four (Dad wants a son), and Dad's pretty strict. Life gets sweeter when 17-year-old Court Foster, his widowed mom, and two little brothers move into the vacant farm next door. Court likes Dani's high spirits and direct way, and though he has a man's responsibilities on the farm, they go off swimming sometimes. The waters of adolescence are deeper than Dani realizes as hers and Court's feelings get jumbled. Then Mother Nature throws wrenching surprises at Dani, and she must come to terms with new emotions.

The long awaited Keys oeuvre is finally here. It is the key in ebony and ivory. The disk listens like a jukebox of piano history and stylings. Tommy delivers on all 88 as various cities with piano influences are explored. Of course, there's some good old backbeat NOLA and soulful Memphis but there's also the gutbucket Sunnyland and Spann of Chicago's Southside and even a touch of Basie's blues as found in Kansas City. Boogie from St. Louis isn't neglected, either. Tommy has demonstrated a fine hand at songwriting on this compilation. The energy level is high and the good times are flowing as Keys tickles the ivories. Twelve cuts rock the joint with 6 being originals. Tommy shouts like he means it and his lyrics say it clear, from love to a government that's lost. The fun is joined and enlarged by several guests. Ken 'the Rocket' Korb lays down some heart wrenching harmonica on “From Four Until Late”. Tommy talks about no $ but the joy felt as long as he’s sitting there playing the blues.

Chemist Sidney Stratton (Alec Guinness) is at a crossroads in his career. He's been trying to invent a long-lasting clothing fiber, but his unreasonable demands for high-end equipment have gotten him fired from job after job. Finally, Sidney creates a white suit that is impervious to the elements – it cannot stain or wrinkle. At first he is celebrated as a hero but, soon enough, the clothing manufacturers realize that the perfect suit is actually very bad for business.
