Ticket to Paradise Ita

Mark, McGriff and Jason are three high school buddies whose glory days are long gone and are still stuck in their small Pennsylvania hometown. To break free and escape their much too ordinary lives, they embark on a cross-country road trip to the College Football Championship Bowl. The journey takes them through hilarious twists and turns, boozing and misbehaving every step of the way. Throughout the wild adventure, they discover the most important thing in this crazy, uncertain world is friendship.

Lewis (Joaquin Phoenix), Sheriff (Vince Vaughn) and Tony (David Conrad) are three friends vacationing in Malaysia. Sheriff and Tony eventually leave to pursue careers in New York, but Lewis stays behind to work with orangutans. Two years later, Sheriff and Tony learn that, because of their past actions, Lewis has been arrested for drug possession. With Lewis facing a death sentence, the friends are left with a difficult decision: return to Malaysia and split Lewis' sentence, or let him die.

A con-woman has a nice business going in fleecing gullible tourists who want a genuine 'underworld' experience – but the tables are turned when one of her victims turns out to be less innocent than he looks! Dodging the city detective who knows her by sight and wants her to "go straight", she next sets her sights on a valuable diamond pendant; but when her elegant nemesis turns up at the scene of the would-be crime, it becomes a race to see who can carry out the con first…

Mr. Morgan (Cooper) washes up on an island in the South Pacific, ruled by Pastor Corbett (Barry Jones), a missionary who rules as a religious despot. Morgan stays on the island despite his conflicting with Corbett and has an illegitimate child, Turia (Moira Walker), by island native Maeva (Haynes). After her death, he leaves the island, but also leaves her daughter behind. He returns to the island shortly before World War II, and finds that his daughter has fallen in love with an American pilot who crash-landed on the island.

Sheriff, Tony et Lewis, trois étudiants américains, se lient d'amitié au cours d'un voyage en Malaisie. Sheriff et Tony rentrent à New York, laissant Lewis sur place. Deux années plus tard, ils apprennent l'arrestation de Lewis, appréhendé par la police peu de temps après leur départ. Paradise Lost 2: Revelations revisits the 1994 Arkansas murder of three 8-year-old boys and the three teenagers convicted of the crime. A follow up to Paradise Lost, Revelations features new interviews with the convicted men, as well as with the original judge and police investigators. While focusing on advocates who believe the young men are innocent, Revelations also includes footage of the stepfather of one of the victims, who some suspect might be involved in the crime.

Allegedly based on a number of true cases, The Guys From Paradise is a prison story set in the Phillipines against a background of corruption, drug trafficking and paedophilia. This being a Takashi Miike film however, the results are far from conventional. It’s essentially a film of two parts: the first set in a prison named “Paradise” where a small community of Japanese prisoners led by veteran criminal Yoshida (Tsutomu Yamazaki) enjoy a life of relative freedom and privilege, the second the story of their exploits outside prison walls with police and a deranged yakuza on their trail…
