The first thing that attracts the eye is this cover – the Jimi Hendrix posture. Noah Howard, one of the great underestimated figures in free jazz, in concentrated rapture. It’s an iconic picture of him which was also used for his 1979 recording “Ole”, on which he presents a fabulous version of the Coltrane composition. All of Howard’s commitment, his ability to listen, his grandeur is expressed in this picture.

The present box is the second of five. Together it's 50 CDs of music by Klaus Schulze. It includes the former sets Silver Edition (10 CDs), Historic Edition (10 CDs), Jubilee Edition (25 CDs), and five new albums made especially as bonus for The Ultimate Edition. This second set (Historic Edition) was released on the 17th of March 1995. It contained unreleased archival recordings.

In 1992 and '93 Klaus Schulze recorded ten hours of music, actually not intended for record release. The first set of ten CDs, Silver Edition was released on the 4th of November 1993, and the praise it immediately received was overwhelming. One year later the set was sold out. Em comemoração aos 200 anos da chegada da Família Real Portuguesa ao Brasil, a Prefeitura do Rio patrocinou a série de 5 CDs "A Música na Corte de D. João VI". Faz parte da série "Missa de Nossa Senhora da Conceição", do Padre José Maurício Nunes Garcia, gravado na Sala Cecília Meirelles, entre os dias 3 e 6 de março e na Igreja Nossa Senhora do Carmo da Antiga Sé, nos dias 07 e 08 de março de 2008. A gravação é da Orquestra Sinfônica Brasileira e o Coro Calíope, sob regência do Maestro Roberto Minczuk, com os solistas Rosana Lamosa, Lina Dias, Adriana Clis, Fernando Portari, Homero Velho e Rafael Thomas.
