A Star Is Born Soundtrack is the soundtrack album to the 2018 musical film of the same name, performed by its stars Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper. It is set to be released on October 5, 2018, by Interscope Records. Gaga and Cooper collaborated on the soundtrack album with an assortment of country musicians, including Lukas Nelson, who also stars in the film as a member of Cooper's band. For the more pop-oriented songs on the soundtrack, Gaga teamed up with recurring collaborator DJ White Shadow. The soundtrack also includes contributions from Jason Isbell, Mark Ronson, Diane Warren, and Andrew Wyatt of Miike Snow.

This album serves as the musical score for the HBO® historical drama "The Gilded Age", from "Downton Abbey" creator Julian Fellowes. The series is set in 1880s New York City—an era of rapid industrial change and fierce conflict between the established aristocracy ("old money") and the nouveau riche ("new money") who have built fortunes in railroads, steel, and other industries. The show explores the social ambitions, class conflicts, and immense luxury of the American Gilded Age.
The music by brothers Harry and Rupert Gregson-Williams is a lush and elegant orchestral score. It perfectly captures both the grandeur and opulence of high society and the internal emotions and drama of the characters. Majestic, sweeping themes give way to delicate and intimate melodies, creating a soundscape that underscores the scale of the era and the personal stories of those caught at the crossroads of the old and new worlds.

When FSM released the long-awaited expanded edition of James Horner’s Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan (1982) in 2009, it didn’t take a Vulcan scientist to assume that the score’s companion piece, Star Trek III: The Search for Spock (1984), might also see the light of day. FSM delivers—thanks to the good graces of Paramount Pictures and Capitol Records. James Horner’s Star Trek III continues his superlative work for the Final Frontier, with emotional developments of the B-theme (the “Enterprise theme”) and Spock’s theme from the earlier film, as well as exotic atmospheres for the all-important Vulcan mysticism that drives the story. The film’s villains, the Klingons, receive a new theme with exciting barbaric instrumentation. From the grand “space opera” setpieces (“Stealing the Enterprise,” “Bird of Prey Decloaks”) to intimate, spiritual moments (“The Mind-Meld,” “Returning to Vulcan”), Horner’s Star Trek III is one of the finest scores in the Star Trek canon.
