Metal legend U.D.O. will release their new album “We Are One” on July 17th, which was written in collaboration with the official Concert Band of the German Armed Forces (Musikkorps der Bundeswehr) under the command of Lieutenant Colonel Christoph Scheibling and is a wholly unique worldwide musical project. The album contains 15 new songs that have been developed and arranged by U.D.O. together with Christoph Scheibling. The two former Accept musicians Stefan Kaufmann and Peter Baltes have been part of the songwriting too – as well as the German Armed Forces´ composers Guido Rennert and Alexander Reuber. 'We Are One‘ is one of the most elaborate concept albums the market has ever seen, not to be compared with the `rock band meets orchestra‘ collaborations that already exist in the music world.

In 1999, Capitol released We Are One/Can't Stop the Love, which contained two complete albums – We Are One (1983, originally released on Capitol) and Can't Stop the Love (1985, originally released on Capitol) – by Maze on one compact disc.

Soft-voiced pop vocalist Kelly Sweet was born into a creative and musical family. In their home in Cape Cod, MA, she was raised by her father, a jazz pianist, and her artist mother. Learning to play notes on the piano before she could walk, Sweet sang live for an audience for the first time at age four at the Cape Cod Conservatory. Not your typical pop record in any way, shape or form, WE ARE ONE has a much more ambitious sensibility than those being heard on Top 40 radio today. With songs sung in English, Italian, French, and Sanskrit, and melodies that partake of both jazz and classical influences, WE ARE ONE conveys a sense of depth, intimacy and sophistication not often heard in today's pop landscape.

A modern adult contemporary singer, Kelly Sweet's debut album, We Are One, made moves on various AC radio charts after its release, based on the power of a few important singles. "Raincoat" and "We Are One" show a soft-voiced approach to ballads that's just a bit upbeat. This is normally the territory of singers like Dido and Norah Jones, but Sweet adds a deeper touch of production to the mix, making a slightly more man-made sound and using it for dramatic effect.
