J-Tull Dot Com (1999) is the 20th studio album by the British band Jethro Tull, and their latest studio album consisting of all-original material. It was released four years after their 1995 album Roots to Branches and continues in the same vein, marrying hard-rock and art-rock with Eastern music influences. This is the only album to feature both Andrew Giddings on keyboards and Jonathan Noyce on bass, although both would stay with the band until 2007, resulting in Jethro Tull's longest ever unchanged line-up. This line-up would record just one other album, The Jethro Tull Christmas Album.

Songs from the Wood is the tenth studio album by British progressive rock band Jethro Tull, released February 1977. The album signalled a new direction for the band, who turned to celebrating British pagan folklore and the countryside life in a wide-ranging folk rock style which combined traditional instruments and melodies with hard rock drums and electric guitars. The album is considered to be the first of a trio of folk rock albums: Songs from the Wood, Heavy Horses (1978) and Stormwatch (1979). On the album cover appears an extended title line: “Jethro Tull—with kitchen prose, gutter rhymes and divers—Songs from the Wood.” The title track of the album contain two of these phrases in its lyrics.

A veritable feast awaits fans of Ian Anderson's Jethro Tull on this elaborate DVD package, which boasts extensive concert footage and a load of extras. The focal point is nearly two hours of performances, filmed in late 2001 (primarily in London, with additional material from several other locations) and featuring material from the band's entire lengthy career, including such staples as "Aqualung" and "Bouree." The current Tull incarnation (featuring, as always, Anderson on vocals, flute, and sundry other instruments) takes center stage; there are also a couple of numbers with a string quartet, and even a small-club reunion of the lineup that made the group's very first album back in 1968……..

The String Quartets is an album by Jethro Tull's Ian Anderson and the Carducci Quartet featuring the classic songs of Jethro Tull, arranged and orchestrated by John O'Hara. Ian plays flute on most of the tracks and even sings a few lines here and there to provide his trademark sounds in the context of classical music traditions. Recorded in the crypt of Worcester Cathedral, UK and in St Kenelm's Church, Sapperton, Gloucestershire, UK, Ian says that this album is "Perfect for lazy, long sunny afternoons, crisp winter nights, weddings and funerals".

Jethro Tull’s tenth album was inspired by Ian Anderson’s departure to a more rural environment in a transition which bore clear influence on the writing and recording process, with the band notably doffing a cap to British folklore and countryside. Songs From The Wood is often referred to as one of the most commercially appealing Jethro Tull albums, containing elements of rock, prog and folk-rock. Although media reaction at the time divided opinion, the album has certainly developed a nostalgic rapport with fans through the years and it is perceived today as one of the band’s most popular albums. Drummer Barrie Barlow comments that it sounds “Fresh, unique, great textures, interesting and dynamic!”, while guitarist Martin Barre remembers that “It was a very tight band, one of the strongest line-ups Tull ever had… I think that Songs From The Wood and Heavy Horses [the follow up album] as a pair of albums are near the top of the tree”.

MAGNIFICENT COME-BACK SHOW FROM A REVAMPED JETHRO TULL • Following throat problems suffered by Ian Anderson - which he developed singing the demanding Under Wraps material on Jethro Tull’s 1984 tour - and generally poor reviews for Under Wraps and the band’s previous two records, Tull took a three-year break following the tour. Jethro Tull returned in 1987 with Crest of a Knave. With keyboardist Peter Vettese having now quit and the band relying more heavily on Martin Barre's electric guitar than they had since the early 1970s, the album was a critical and commercial success. Shades of their earlier electronic excursions were still present, however, as three of the album's songs again used a drum machine, with Doane Perry and Gerry Conway sharing drum duties on the other tracks.
