London-based producer Ulrich Schnauss and Danish guitarist and producer Jonas Munk have both unfolded their unique visions of electronic music over the past two decades, and they have been collaborating since the mid-2000s. Eight Fragments Of An Illusion is their first album in over four years, their third overall.

Highly respected electronic composer Ulrich Schnauss releases his fifth studio album on the Scripted Realities label. Musically taking its cue from his first two critically acclaimed albums, Ulrich revisits the emotionally charged sonic anthems that established him as leading light in the electronic world. For fans of Jon Hopkins, Tycho, Brian Eno and Tangerine Dream (of which Ulrich is a member). Ulrich has just co written, produced and performed on the forthcoming Tangerine Dream album.

Ulrich Drechsler established himself as one of the most ambigous and unpredictable musicians in Europe. He stormed the international Jazz and Clubcharts, amongst others with the Nu Jazz Trio „Cafe Drechsler“ with whom he was awarded the Austrian Amadeus Music Award in 2005.He played touching ballads with piano player extraordinaire Tord Gustavson (CD 'humans & places', 2006), indulged into delicate dialogues with his Daily Mysteries Trio (CD 'Daily Mysteries, 2007), interpreted Thelonious Monk and Franz Schubert's 'Winterreise' in a spectacular new way and furthermore also works as a film composer.

Although Peter Ulrich remains best known as an on-again, off-again member of Dead Can Dance (he supplied percussion on such classics as 1987's Within the Realm of a Dying Sun), he is an accomplished composer in his own right, as evidenced by his sporadic solo recordings. Like the releases by his former band, Ulrich's latest solo outing, 2005's Enter the Mysterium, is an incredibly lush recording – chock-full of exotic instruments not usually associated with your typical rock bands (recorder, oboe, violin, etc.).
