Unearth

This version of Unearth are not the Boston-based metal band, but a Seattle grunge band from the early 1990's who only released one album on New Rage Records called Everything Was Beautiful And Nothing Hurt. New Rage were a subsidiary of the more famous C/Z label and Unearth were getting a good share of press in Seattle publications. They had released two singles before the album came out in 1993, only for the group to break up soon after its release. Some critics felt Unearth had the potential to be up there with Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, and Mudhoney. The album was recorded, mixed, and co-produced by Jack Endino.

The peerless singer-songwriter recorded this remarkable record with a stellar cast of producers including Bekon (Kendrick Lamar, Drake), Jennifer Decilveo (Miley Cyrus, Bat For Lashes), and Jeff Gitelman (The Weeknd, H.E.R.). The sounds, style and influences throughout the record range from folk, to rock, to blues, to soul, to anthemic pop, and all that’s in between.
