Applied Dynamic Programming for Optimization of Dynamical Systems (Advances in Design and Control)

Applied Dynamic Programming for Optimization of Dynamical Systems (Advances in Design and Control)
260 pages | Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematic (July 2005) | ISBN: 0898715865 | PDF | 11 Mb

The book is a welcome addition to the dynamical systems field. The marriage of optimization broadly and dynamic programming in particular to a family of problems in robotics and spacecraft maneuvers is beautifully executed. There is good balance between development of methodology and presentation of illustrative applications. The detailed appendices will be most appreciated by serious students who wish to understand these results and carry them further. In summary, I like this book and warmly recommend it. John L. Junkins, Distinguished Professor of Aerospace Engineering, Director, Center for Mechanics and Control, Texas A&M University

Programming in the .NET Environment is the software developer's guide to the .NET Framework. The authors describe Microsoft's vision for distributed component-based systems development and then show programmers how to develop software that takes full advantage of the features of the .NET Framework. Readers learn how to author components, libraries, and frameworks that not only exploit the capabilities of the .NET Framework but also integrate seamlessly into that environment.
