Tina Arena, the undisputed high priestess of Australian music, is set to release ‘Greatest Hits and Interpretations’, a 2CD / 31 track set that pays homage to her incredible 40 years in the music business. A selection of Australia’s finest performers have joined in the celebration, lending their own renditions of Tina’s songs to this magnificent collection, to delight even the most ardent fans!

Arena comes off as a storyteller here, spinning yards as the fun “Big Black Cat”, the autobiographic “Raised On Radio” and the Memphis swamp of “Devil In The Bottle”, all backed by some hip riffs. He glides over a Latin pulse on “Deceived” and wails along Jerry Portnoy’s heavy harp on Memphis Slim’s “Mother Earth”, while searing over Richards’ snappy sticks on “Hypnotized”.

Additionally, the band broke Wrigley Field's all-time concert attendance record in 2017. Dead & Company's 2018 Summer Tour ranked in the top 25 of the Top 100 Worldwide Tours and for the past two years, their Summer Tours ranked in the top 15 of the Top Global Concert Tours.

Visits by the Grateful Dead and succeeding bands of its core members – and, of course, throngs of Dead Heads - have long been a beloved Las Vegas tradition. But it didn’t always look like it would be that way. When the Dead, at their peak of their popularity, announced plans to play at the city’s largest stadium, the Silver Bowl, in 1991, there were attempts to get the shows cancelled by powerful forces in Vegas, including owners of some of the major hotels and casinos, who expressed concern that the band would attract “the wrong element” – a rather amusing notion in a city that was pretty much founded and run for many decades by a really wrong element, personified by infamous gangsters like Ben “Bugsy” Siegel.
