Venus And Mars

This volume provides a current viewpoint of planetary systems. The solar system’s planets and exoplanets are addressed in an overview manner, and specific space probe data are used to provide a current state of knowledge of Venus and Mars.

"Wings Over America" is the monumental live album by Paul McCartney and Wings, originally released in December of 1976. Recorded throughout the band's Wings Over America U.S. tour dates earlier that Spring, the album reached #1 in the US in early 1977. Containing almost two full hours of music, "Wings Over America" offers a stunning rendition of "Maybe I'm Amazed", plus Wings classics such as "Live and Let Die", "My Love", & "Let 'Em In". McCartney also included some Beatles classics into the set list - for the first time since the Beatles had broken up six years earlier.

"Wings At The Speed Of Sound" is the fifth album by Wings originally released in 1976. The deluxe edition features the original 11 track album, remastered at Abbey Roads Studios in London and supervised by Paul. Includes the singles ‘Silly Love Songs’ and ‘Let ‘Em In’. Also contains 7 previously unreleased bonus audio tracks, including a version of ‘Beware My Love’ featuring John Bonham.

Johann Christoph Pepusch’s English-language masque Venus and Adonis premiered at London’s Theatre Royal on 12 March 1715. Inspired by the operas of composers like Giovanni Battista Bononcini and Alessandro Scarlatti, it was the most substantial effort of the period to ‘reconcile Musick to the English Tongue.’

Dewey Redman was an American jazz saxophonist, known for performing free jazz as a bandleader, and with Ornette Coleman and Keith Jarrett. Redman played mainly tenor saxophone, though he occasionally doubled on alto saxophone, played the Chinese suona (which he called a musette) and on rare occasions played the clarinet. His son is saxophonist Joshua Redman. This is reissue of African Venus album features Dewey Redman playing with his son Joshua, and includes original compositions as well as songs by Pat Ballard, Duke Ellington, Billy Strayhorn and Ornette Coleman.
