Violin Kontakt

Vertigo Violin is a new addition to our symphonic range. It is an exciting mixture of different playing techniques of the violin, which have been assembled into our existing Vertigo Engine. The sound of Vertigo Violin is both smooth and rough and opens up the possibility to create very unique and soft string instrument tunings as well as more extreme and strange sounding soundscapes. And all this is - as always - very organic and lively. It fits so well to all types of film music.

Contemporary Soloists: Violin is the second instalment in our new range of instruments for Kontakt. Featuring unique and contemporary orchestral violin textures performed by virtuoso violinist and composer, Max Baillie, It is full of soul, emotion and raw character.

Simple Violin is a violin sampled with just one true legato articulation - with full sustain note after the legato - and one dynamic layer. Sampled in a concert hall, we particularly asked the performer to pay great attention to passion and vibrato. The result is a lovely instrument, which features the same advanced engine of our more expensive products.

Sospiro Strings is a Kontakt library for creating slow, emotive strings. It features 4 different length swells and 3 sustained articulations, recorded on bass, cello, viola, and violin.

SOLO VIOLIN DESIGNER is a massive collection of over 4.000 phrases performed by renowned concert violinist: Thomas Yee. The intention of the library was to sample completely realistic solo violin by creating an incredible collection of musical phrases. We programmed the library in a way that gives you maximum control over the phrases and literally allows you to sculpt 100% realistic solo violin performances.
