Je ne voulais pas faire ça comme ça…" Au programme, donc, des reprises à la sauce country ou americana des classiques de Jenifer, sortis sur ses dix premières années de carrière : Au soleil, Ma révolution, Tourner ma page, J’attends l’amour, Comme un hic… Autant de tubes que la popstar reprendra également sur scène, sur les dates de son Jukebox Tour qui parcourra la France de janvier à mai 2025. A Paris, deux concerts sont prévus aux Folies Bergère les 26 et 27 mars 2025.

Following up 2008's The Sinatra Project, Michael Feinstein's 2011 The Sinatra Project, Vol. 2: The Good Life features more of the urbane and polished singer/pianist's takes on Ol' Blue Eyes' catalog. Featuring both large and small ensembles, here Feinstein takes on a nice selection of both well-known and lesser-known cuts that Sinatra tackled at some point in his storied career. Included are such stand-out numbers as the big-band rhumba piece "Sway," the swinging medley "Luck Be a Lady/All I Need Is the Girl," and the romantic orchestral ballad "The Way You Look Tonight." While Feinstein is a pleasant vocalist, he's less of a dynamic crooner than Sinatra and not surprisingly, the best tracks here are the more intimate ones that find him accompanying himself on piano, as with the autumnal "C'est Comme Ca" and the poignant "I'll Be Around." Longtime Feinstein fans should find much to enjoy on this impeccably crafted homage to Sinatra. ~ AllMusic Review by Matt Collar

It seemed like a good idea at the time. It was a good idea at the time. Ireland's best known jazz musicians, guitarist Louis Stewart and pianist Jim Doherty have played together since the days of the famous Irish show bands in the early 1960s and have recorded together on numerous projects, but the idea to record a duo album of the jazz standards they cherish has taken fifty years to move from seed to fruition. The simply titled Tunes also represents the debut release of Daire Winston's Beechpark Records label and was recorded mostly in single takes at Beechpark Studios, Dublin. The twelve titles are lifted lovingly from The Great American Songbook and are played at a jaunty mid-tempo for the most part, save for "I Surrender Dear" and a gorgeous and tender interpretation of "Comme Ci Comme Ca," a tune recorded by both Frank Sinatra and Ahmad Jamal.

Son quatrième, Equilibrium, poursuit donc dans cette lignée, entouré des excellents Jérôme Beaulieu au piano, Olivier Babaz à la contrebasse et Alain Bourgeois à la batterie.
