Much to the delight of melodic rock fans around the globe, W.E.T. has announced the release of their fourth album, “Retransmission”. Core members Jeff Scott Soto, Erik Mårtensson, and Robert Såll deliver another astounding album that will surely be a contender for Melodic Rock Album of the Year 2021. W.E.T truly epitomizes what melodic rock has become in the new decade. The key element at the foundation of W.E.T has always been to create a modern melodic hard rock sound that will drive the genre into the future. Combining powerhouse rhythms and top notch production, the music is equally classic and contemporary. “Retransmission” is nothing else than an absolute milestone, which is well in keeping with the tradition established by the three amazing records that have preceded this one.

W.E.T is another super group put together by Frontiers Records, who, in recent years, have helped to forge many collaborative efforts to varying degrees of success. They’re probably one of the better acts to come from this approach, with Jeff Scott Soto (vocals), Erik Mårtensson (guitars) and Robert Såll (keyboards) making up the core of the group.

Swedish/American melodic hard rock supergroup W.E.T., which derives its acronymic moniker from the first letter of each of its three member's flagship bands, formed in 2008 after Italian record label Frontiers asked keyboardist/guitarist Robert Säll (Work of Art) and guitarist Erik Mårtensson (Eclipse) to each contribute six songs to a new project with Talisman vocalist Jeff Scott Soto. The results can be heard on their well-received 2009 eponymous debut. Road-tested and operating like a well-oiled machine, the newly minted band decided to ditch the individual approach and start writing as a unit for 2013's Rise Up, which was followed in 2014 by the live CD/DVD One Live: In Stockholm. December 2017 saw the release of the single "Watch the Fire," in anticipation of the arrival of the group's third studio effort Earthrage, which dropped in March 2018.

W.E.T. is built around the talents of Robert Säll (the “W” from WORK OF ART), Erik Mårtensson (the “E” from ECLIPSE) and Jeff Scott Soto (the “T” from TALISMAN) with ECLIPSE guitarist Magnus Henriksson and drummer Robban Bäck. “Earthrage” is the band’s third studio album and comes in the midst of absolute creative high points from Mårtensson (coming off a highly successful new ECLIPSE album and preparing for the release of the self-titled AMMUNITION album), Soto (coming off his own successful solo album, plus the debut of supergroup SONS OF APOLLO), and Säll (having just completed the production of a forthcoming record with Steve Overland of FM and about to start working on the anticipated fourth WORK OF ART record).

Musically, the duo presented a hybrid of the more melodic aspects of Pretty Maids’ sound mixed with elements of Eclipse, Talisman, and W.E.T., while still possessing their own identity. Following requests from fans for a follow up to the debut, the two musicians decided to give Nordic Union another shot, so after a few months production, “Second Coming” will land soon much to the delight of melodic rock fans worldwide! Every aspect of the album screams QUALITY. The songwriting is of the highest standards, the musicianship faultless, and the production top notch, crispm and clear as a bell. Ronnie Atkins continues to improve with time as he deftly demonstrates throughout the album that he knows how to use his voice effectively at any given point in a song. Heavy riffs, soaring vocals, thumping beats, and a grand ballad…this album has it all and flows perfectly with songs that are memorable, rocking, and of course, melodic. Prepare to delight your ears with a great new album from the sensational Nordic musical alliance known as Nordic Union!

The three-singers-concept had turned out to be a successful experiment, so Nik decided to record the follow-up with three singers as well. Edman and Vikström returned for the recordings, and new Brazen Abbot member Joe Lynn Turner (ex-Rainbow, ex-Yngwie Malmsteen, solo) filled the third vocalist spot. Former Europe member John Levén took over the bass duties as Svante Henryson was unable to record the album due to schedulig conflicts. Haugland and Michaeli completed the backing band for "Eye of the Storm", which was released in 1996.

The Bulgarian guitar hero Nikolo Kotzev is back with Brazen Abbot - Guilty As Sin - the fourth album after Live And Learn (1995), Eye Of The Storm (1996) and Bad Religion (1997). There are so many magical moments inside Guilty As Sin. Deep Purple, Rainbow or Whitesnake resuscitate each time Mic Michaeli plays with his organ, sending us back to the 70's, with a modern sound of course.

When Frontiers released Pride Of Lions' groundbreaking first album in 2003, many people asked is this one of those side project bands that do one or two albums and then disappear - or a real band? Now, with the release of their fifth studio album, Fearless, Pride Of Lions proves to the world that Jim Peterik (Survivor) and Toby Hitchcock and their band are not just a studio concoction, but a real force to be reckoned with!

Bloodorn is the new power metal sensation around the two Sirenia musicians Nils Coubaron and Michael Brush as well as Silent Winter singer Mika Livas and Freedom Call bassist Francesco Saverio Ferraro.
Influenced by bands such as Gamma Ray, Angra and Beast in Black, the band also draws on some elements from the extreme metal scene. Bloodorn's music is very fast and technical, sometimes even brutal, but also very melodic and catchy: Extreme Power Metal! Bloodorn is about the fight against oppression, authority and tyranny, but also about dark gothic fantasy, shadow cults, war, inner strength, honour, Norse mythology and even some video game references.
