Pop-Metal band formed in 1984, Warrant signed with Columbia in 1988 and released their debut in 1989 - "Dirty Rotten Filthy Stinking Rich", included in this album set, along with "Cherry Pie" (1990) and "Dog Eat Dog" (1992).

For over 40 years Time Life has been releasing music collections in many different genres of music. Their latest is a bonanza for hard rock and hair metal fans. Hard And Heavy is 152 songs on 9 CDs.
Hard And Heavy is a massive collection of songs from the '70s and '80s. It includes classic rock artists like Foreigner and Bad Company, pop artists like Pat Benatar and Billy Idol, hair bands such as Winger, Warrant, Skid Row and Poison along with more traditional metal bands such as Judas Priest, Motorhead, Megadeth and Queensryche.

Time Life was founded in 1961 as the book division of Time Inc.. It took its name from Time Inc.'s cornerstone magazines, Time and Life, but remained independent of both. During 1966, Time Life combined its book offerings with music collections (two to five records) and packaged them as a sturdy box set. Throughout the 1970s and 1980s, the selection of books, music and videos grew and was diversified into more genres. When record labels stopped producing vinyl albums in 1990, Time Life switched to CD only. In the mid-1990s, Time Life acquired Heartland Music, with the Heartland Music label now appearing as a brand. This company was subsequently sold off and is no longer attached to Time Life.

Ongoing musical project featuring Michael Sweet (Stryper, Iconic) on lead vocals/guitars and George Lynch on guitars (Lynch Mob, The End Machine, ex-Dokken). This is their third album overall and the first since 2017. "How would it have been in the '80s if I sang for Dokken and if Don Dokken sang for Stryper? Well, it's 2023 and I'm in a band called Sweet & Lynch that's basically Stryper meets Dokken. If you're a fan of both bands, you're gonna love this!" says Sweet.

Cleopatra's Not the Same Old Song and Dance: Aerosmith Tribute assembles a number of hard-rock and heavy metal veterans, most with their heyday in the '80s, to perform new versions of Aerosmith classics. Most of the performers are faithful to the originals, which isn't necessarily a problem - the material is well-chosen and represents some of Aerosmith's best. The main problem is that many of the performances are too mannered, the production too slick to recapture the down-and-dirty grit of the originals; plus, when some selections call for keeping pace with Steven Tyler's manic, fast-paced jive, the vocalists tend to come up short. Still, there are some individual highlights - Vince Neil does a pretty good job on "Chip Away the Stone," and Ronnie James Dio captures the essence of "Dream On," to name the most obvious. Other performers include former members of Warrant, Tesla, Damn Yankees, Ratt, and Great White.
