The Belko Experiment is a 2016 American horror film directed by Greg McLean and written by James Gunn. The film stars John Gallagher Jr., Tony Goldwyn, Adria Arjona, and Melonie Diaz. Filming began on June 1, 2015, in Bogotá, Colombia. The film premiered at the 2016 Toronto International Film Festival on September 10, 2016 and was released in the United States on March 17, 2017, by Blumhouse Tilt and Orion Pictures. The film received mixed reviews from critics and has grossed $11 million worldwide, against its $5 million budget.

Varese Sarabande has announced the details of the soundtrack album for the action thriller 24 Hours to Live. The album features the film’s original music composed by Tyler Bates (Guardians of the Galaxy, 300, Watchmen, John Wick, The Punisher, Dawn of the Dead). Also included is the previously unreleased song, God’s Going to Cut You Down, by Marilyn Manson. The soundtrack will be released physically on January 19, 2018 and is now available for pre-order on Amazon. 24 Hours to Live is directed by Brian Smrz and stars Ethan Hawke, Xu Qing, Liam Cunningham, Rutger Hauer and Paul Anderson. The movie follows a career assassin who is given a chance at redemption after his employer brings him back to life temporarily after being killed on the job. The thriller was released in select theaters and on VOD earlier this month by Saban Films.

Fresh off their massive Watchmen soundtrack, Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross are officially on board to score David Fincher’s upcoming movie Mank. The duo will exclusively use period-authentic instruments from the 1940s to compose the music, Reznor told Revolver.Mank is Fincher’s first movie in over five years, following up on 2014’s Gone Girl — which Reznor and Ross also scored. Mank is set to be a black-and-white film that tells the story of Citizen Kane co-writer Herman Mankiewicz, who will be played by Gary Oldman. It will be heading straight to Netflix, an unsurprising decision given Fincher’s relationship with the streamer thanks to Mindhunter.

The album features the film’s original music composed by Tyler Bates (Guardians of the Galaxy, Deadpool 2, John Wick, 300, The Punisher, Watchmen). The soundtrack will be released digitally tomorrow, August 2 and will be available to download here. As previously reported, the label has already released a separate soundtrack album featuring the songs from the movie. Hobbs & Shaw directed by David Leitch and starring Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham, Idris Elba, Vanessa Kirby and Helen Mirren is opening in theaters nationwide this weekend.
