Extreme Multivalued Waves as a Model of Everything: From Euler Figures to Faraday Waves, Particle-Waves and Universes by Shamil Usmanovich Galiev
English | EPUB (True) | 2025 | 414 Pages | ISBN : 3031670264 | 73.3 MB

The purpose of the book is a mathematical and experimental study of extreme, multivalued waves based on scalar field equations. It is known that Einstein tried to build a unified (interdisciplinary) field theory that would unite all interactions in Nature into a single system. The book uses this idea, supplemented by the idea that all fundamental interactions have a wave, resonant, nonlinear nature. The theoretical foundation of the book also consists of the results of Leonard Euler.

Advances in Numerical Simulation of Nonlinear Water Waves (repost)

Advances in Numerical Simulation of Nonlinear Water Waves (Advances in Coastal and Ocean Engineering) by Qingwei Ma
World Scientific Publishing Company | April 15, 2010 | English | ISBN: 9812836497 | 700 pages | PDF | 21 MB

Most of the Earth's surface is covered by water. Many aspects of our everyday lives and activities may be affected by water waves in some way. Sometimes, the waves can cause disaster. One of the examples was the tsunami that occurred in the Indian Ocean on 26 December 2004. This indicates how important it is for us to fully understand water waves, in particular the very large ones. One way to do so is to perform numerical simulation based on the nonlinear theory. Considerable research advances have been made in this area over the past decade by developing various numerical methods and applying them to emerging problems; however, until now there has been no comprehensive book to reflect these advances. This unique volume aims to bridge this gap.

Nonlinear Elastic Waves in Materials by Jeremiah J. Rushchitsky
English | PDF | 2014 | 445 Pages | ISBN : 3319004638 | 10.5 MB

The main goal of the book is a coherent treatment of the theory of propagation in materials of nonlinearly elastic waves of displacements, which corresponds to one modern line of development of the nonlinear theory of elastic waves.

"Acoustic Waves: From Microdevices to Helioseismology" ed. by Marco G. Beghi
InTeOpP | 2011 | ISBN: 9533075724 9789533075723 | 665 pages | PDF | 51 MB

This book presents several aspects of the active research ongoing in the field of Acoustic Waves. Theoretical efforts are leading to a deeper understanding of phenomena, also in complicated environments like the solar surface boundary. A whole class of widespread microdevices, including filters and sensors, is based on the behaviour of acoustic waves propagating in thin layers. The search for better performances is driving to new materials for these devices, and to more refined tools for their analysis.
