Tekla Structures is Building Information Modelling (BIM) software that enables the creation and management of accurately detailed, highly constructable 3D structural models regardless of material or structural complexity. Tekla models can be used to cover the entire building process from conceptual design to fabrication, erection and construction management.

The Tekla product team introduced new update version of its software for structural engineering, fabrication and construction teams—Tekla Structures 2018 SP7. This update contain new features, and improvements and fixes to existing features.

Trimble has released an update (SP6) to Tekla Structures 2016i, a further development of the modeling software for steel-, timber and concrete buildings. Several new (and improved) functionalities have been added in release 2016i, most of which are inspired by Tekla users.
