Liuwe Tamminga is considered one of the major specialists of sixteenth- and seventeenth-century Italian repertoires for organ. He is the organist of the historic organs at the Basilica of San Petronio in Bologna together with Luigi Ferdinando Tagliavini, where he plays the magnificent instruments by Lorenzo da Prato (1471-75) and Baldassarre Malamini (1596).

Tales from the Kingdom of Fife is the debut album by Anglo-Swiss symphonic power metal band Gloryhammer. It was released on 29 March 2013 in Europe. In a fantasy version of 10th-century Scotland, as previously foretold (“Anstruther’s Dark Prophecy”), the evil wizard Zargothrax invades and conquers Dundee with an army of corrupted undead unicorns (“The Unicorn Invasion of Dundee”), kidnapping the princess Iona McDougall. The prince of the Kingdom of Fife, Angus McFife, swears revenge (“Angus McFife”); in a dream, he has a vision of three artifacts that will allow him to defeat Zargothrax, and sets off on a quest to acquire them. McFife first battles north to obtain a magical war hammer (“Quest for the Hammer of Glory,”) then travels to Strathclyde to acquire a golden dragon as his steed (“Magic Dragon”). Inspired by memories of McDougall, who is imprisoned by Zargothrax in a prison of ice (“Silent Tears of Frozen Princess,”) McFife rides his dragon to Loch Rannoch and retrieves the Amulet of Justice from its depths (“Amulet of Justice”), completing his quest for the three artifacts. ….

The album features the choir’s much-loved version of Stand By Me that they performed at this year’s Royal Wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. The choir’s diverse album track listing also includes captivating renditions of Beyoncé’s Halo, John Legend’s All Of Me as well as Stormzy’s Blinded By Your Grace Part 2. Also on the album is a brand new, emotionally powerful ballad written by members of The Kingdom Choir called Chases.

Bush are back with the follow-up to 2017’s Black And White Rainbows. Vocalist and guitarist Gavin Rossdale says: “We are really proud of The Kingdom. It’s as if all roads traveled over the last few years have gotten us to this point. We look forward to this cycle – old fans, new fans, like-minded people who are searching for their kingdom.”
