It is one of Q Magazine’s “Best Jazz Albums of All Time” and one of Rolling Stone’s “500 Greatest Albums of All Time”. It reached #1 on Billboard’s Top Jazz Albums and won the GRAMMY for Best Large Jazz Ensemble Performance.
