Description: On August 18, 1990, WHITESNAKE headlined the legendary Monsters Of Rock (now known as 'Download') festival in Castle Donnington, England. WHITESNAKE's performance at the festival was one of the highlights of the Liquor & Poker World Tour, which saw over a million people attend the band's sold-out concerts. The previously unreleased footage shows one of WHITESNAKE's most intense lineup performing in front of an audience of over 70,000. The audio recording of the concert is mixed in 5.1 and stereo formats, so it can only be cooler than attending the event directly. The 1990 WHITESNAKE line-up included guitar greats Steve Vai and Adrian Vandenberg, bassist Rudy Sarzo,
The "Live At Donington 1990" DVD also includes an impressive gallery of previously unseen photos of the band from the "Liquor & Poker" tour, as well as a documentary on the making of the "Slip Of The Tongue" album.

Even his longtime partner Keith Richards is quoted on record calling Jagger's 2001 album Goddess in the Doorway "Dogsh*t in the doorway," a tacit signal that all the dismissive reviews of Jagger's solo stuff were not only justified, but appropriate – a judgment that may be a bit extreme, but in a way it's understandable, because Jagger's solo recordings showcased his least lovable aspects, particularly his relentless social climbing and obsession with style…
Avid Jazz here presents three classic Dorsey Brothers albums plus, including original LP liner notes on a finely re-mastered double CD. 'The Fabulous Dorseys In Hi-Fi Vols 1 & 2', 'Sentimental & Swinging', plus unreleased CBS Radio Network recordings. Columbia’s double set 'The Fabulous Dorseys In Hi-Fi Vols 1 & 2' and 'Sentimental & Swinging' make up the thirty six recordings made by Tommy Dorsey in early 1955. Sadly they also constitute the last recordings the Dorsey Brothers made together! These classic big band sessions together with the previously unreleased CBS Radio Network recordings (which were cancelled when Tommy tragically and unexpectedly died) make this latest release from Avid Jazz a truly essential addition to our fine and highly regarded catalogue.
