When Stiltskin’s debut album "The Mind’s Eye" was released in 1994, Ray Wilson was almost totally unknown in the Genesis camp. Celebrated as a grunge sensation, Stiltskin were hardly in the same league with Genesis. The rest is already history. Ray became singer with Genesis, but only for a brief stint, and Stiltskin disbanded even before that because of arguments in the band. Nothing new there in the music business…
It is the title. The answer to the question what is the first jarring thing about this album is obvious. Unfulfillment is a very peculiar word for native and non-native speakers of English alike. Not that it is at all difficult to grasp the concept, but it is so very circuitous. Ray Wilson gives us a hint: Things are never finished, never complete, never simple, never contented…
Ray Wilson will release his first ever Blu-ray next month (5th October). His performance on the Bauhausbühne in Dessau earlier this year (20th May, as part of the ZDF@Bauhaus television series) was recorded and 14 tracks from that show will appear on the Blu-ray and CD/DVD release Ray Wilson ZDF@Bauhaus.
The is the second album by the band Stiltskin now led by Ray Wilson. The project is sometimes known as Ray Wilson & Stiltskin. The album was commercially released in October 2006 in Eastern Europe with plans to release the album in the UK in 2007.
2016 release 'Song For A Friend' is an emotional and powerful material. Ray's voice emerges strong and almost sad among most accoustic sounds from an equilibrated and known Ray musicians…
Propaganda Man (2008). Former Genesis (1996-1998) and Stiltskin singer Ray Wilson is an unpredictable artist you never know what to expect from, his previous albums has been everything from singer/songwriter rock to progrock and folkrock to classic hardrock. On this solo album "Propaganda Man", Ray gives us 11 songs in the vein of David Gilmour and Camel, this man has a voice that can lift any song and some of the songs could even be featured on a 70´s Pink Floyd album…
A beautiful album with strains of art rock/progressive rock, grunge, hard rock, psychedelic rock, and blues rock.
