When the good people of Venice saw St Mark’s elderly maestro di cappella, Claudio Monteverdi, striding purposefully past the Basilica di San Giovanni e Paolo in 1640, they knew where he was heading: to the theatre of the same name on the Calle della Testa, where his new opera, Il ritorno d’Ulisse in patria, was performed at that year’s Carnival. Tickets for the ten performances sold like hot cakes: going to the opera was a wholly new form of entertainment for members of a paying public in La Serenissima.

Above the album worked the '101 Strings Orchestra - La Dolce Vita 25 Classic Italian Dinner Party Songs', and his release took place on 2020. The album has got songs with a total duration of more than an hour. A compilation is a compilation of original music.

1963. Luccicano le luci di Roma al tempo della Dolce Vita. Lampeggiano i flash delle macchine fotografiche tra le mani svelte e nervose dei paparazzi, gli scandali sono l’altro nome della mondanità. This new album is delivered only 8 months after the previous album "Today Is Another Day". It was recorded entirely new in New York with a trio with Yoshi Waki (b) and John Davis (ds). The concept is a tribute album dedicated to Wayne Shorter, the great jazz saxophonist who passed away in March. After opening with "Dolce Vita" and "To S.," two new songs written by Yamanaka for this album, the album features a number of songs covering Shorter's career, including "Yes or No," "Beauty and the Beast" and "Footprints. The arrangements and performances, sometimes bold, sometimes delicate, are a must for all jazz fans, with the occasional addition of an organ. The album ends with two songs dedicated to Ryuichi Sakamoto, who also passed away in March.
