İç savaş gazisi Kaptan Malcolm Reynolds, küçük ve kendine has bir ekibi kumanda ettiği gemisi Serenity'de yaşam mücadelesi vermektedir. Derken genç bir doktor ve telepati yeteneği olan kız kardeşini gemiye alır. Pazarlık ettiğinden daha fazlasını elde edecektir. Gemiye bindiklerinde beklediğinden daha fazlasını alacaktır. Kainatı hakimiyetine almış hükümetten kaçan bu iki firari ve Serenity mürettebatı çok geçmeden kendilerini koalisyonun engel tanımaz askerleri ve Yağmacılar olarak bilinen acımasız bir grup arasında çapraz ateşte bulacaktır. Ancak gerçek tehlike hiç ummadıkları kadar yakınlarında biryerlerde onları beklemektedir.

Altı bölümden oluşan “Sinemayı Sanat Yapanlar” sinemanın 100. kuruluş yılında, Türk Sineması’nın kurmacada anlatım dilini oluşturan altı yönetmen (Metin ERKSAN, Atıf YILMAZ, Memduh ÜN, Osman SEDEN, Halit REFİĞ ve Lütfi AKAD) ile ilgili yapılan biyografik bir belgesel çalışmadır.

Of all the cinematic New Waves that broke over the world in the 1960s, the one in Czechoslovakia was among the most fruitful, fascinating, and radical. With a wicked sense of humor and a healthy streak of surrealism, a group of fearless directors - including eventual Oscar winners Miloš Forman and Ján Kadár - began to use film to speak out about the hypocrisy and absurdity of the Communist state. A defining work was the 1966 omnibus film Pearls of the Deep, which introduced five of the movement’s essential voices: Věra Chytilová, Jaromil Jireš, Jiří Menzel, Jan Němec, and Evald Schorm. This series presents that title, along with five other crucial works that followed close on its heels, one from each of those filmmakers - some dazzlingly experimental, some arrestingly realistic, all singular expressions from a remarkable time and place.

An African-American baby, abandoned by his crack addicted mother is adopted by a white social worker and her husband. Several years later, the baby's mother finds out her son is not dead, as she thought before and goes to court to get him back.
