"Testamentum" is the 2020 conceptual farewell album by the legendary band from Hungary, which has been active since the early '60s in genres s.a. beat, psych and progressive heavy rock. Omega's (ex-)members Laszlo Benko and Tamas Mihaly as well as legendary sound engineer (and co-founder) Laszlo Nemes sadly passed away recently.

People On Sunday is an original soundtrack to the 1930 silent film variously known as Menschen am Sonntag, Les Hommes le Dimanche and People On Sunday. The film is a key work of interwar German cinema, based on a screenplay by Billy Wilder.
Part documentary, part fiction, People On Sunday follows a group of characters going about their business in Weimar-era Berlin over one weekend and shows normal life in Germany before dictatorship.
Domenique Dumont was invited to compose the score for a special screening and live performance at the Les Arcs Film Festival in the French Alps in December 2019…

John Lee Hooker was an American blues singer, songwriter, and guitarist. The son of a sharecropper, he rose to prominence performing an electric guitar-style adaptation of Delta blues. Hooker often incorporated other elements, including talking blues and early North Mississippi Hill country blues. He developed his own driving-rhythm boogie style, distinct from the 1930s–1940s piano-derived boogie-woogie. Hooker was ranked 35 in Rolling Stones 2015 list of 100 greatest guitarists.

Mere weeks after Autechre released SIGN, their first standard-length studio album in a decade, the duo issued PLUS, a companion effort bearing a similar cover design, this time with lush greens instead of flame-like orange shades. While SIGN was often far more textural than rhythmic, recalling more ambient-leaning Autechre works such as Amber and Quaristice, PLUS places a greater emphasis on steely beat constructions, and it generally feels colder, though not necessarily less human. "DekDre Scap B" opens the album with a series of splatters, stutters, and convulsions, yet close attention reveals that a nearly inaudibly faint pulse is barely holding it all together. "7FM ic" is a bit more chipper, and sounds like a fleet of alien spacecraft activating to a beat…
