NOW Music are excited to present a brand-new series - ‘NOW 12” 80s’. The first instalment – 1980 – is released on July 14th 2023. The 12” single was a dynamic and increasingly essential part of the release schedule as the decade progressed. Incorporating extended (sometimes the full album) versions, remixes, and re-inventions – they not only gave the dance-floor a longer version, and the listener an alternative take, but also highlighted the artistry of the producer – bringing together all kinds of elements to create new soundscapes woven together with the original track, either vocal or instrumental, to present another reason to be excited on release date.

Hamburg marked an important year in its history in 1762. The city’s large St. Michael’s Church had been destroyed by fire in 1760, and two years later the magnificent new Baroque structure (as yet without a tower) was dedicated. This event was celebrated as an official state ceremony, and of course Georg Philipp Telemann, the city’s music director, who by then was eighty-one years old, had to supply the music for it.

The 18 discs Collector's Edition of "The Cutting Edge 1965-1966: The Bootleg Series Vol. 12" is limited to a worldwide pressing of only 5,000 copies, and includes every note recorded during the 1965-1966 sessions, every alternate take and alternate lyrics. The 18CD edition includes Dylan's original nine mono 45 RPM singles released during the time period, and rare hotel room recordings from the Savoy Hotel in London (May 4, 1965), the North British Station Hotel in Glasgow (May 13, 1966) and a Denver, Colorado hotel (March 12, 1966) as well as a strip of original film cels from "Don't Look Back". NOW Music are excited to present NOW That’s What I Call 12” 70s – a CD collection of 42 12” and extended versions of some of the most defining and enduring tracks from some of the most memorable artists of the era.

The Early Music Log series on the Fra Bernardo label aims to present milestones in the interpretation of early music. This CD features recordings of acclaimed concert by Il Giardino Armonico and Giovanni Antonini in Vienna in 1999 and is complemented by a special archive treasure from 1934: the arrangement of Handel’s Concerto, HWV335a, for large orchestra with Sir Hamilton Harty and the London Symphony Orchestra.

The NOW 12” 80s series is back with the latest addition – NOW 12” 80s: 1982 – Part 2 – to be released on April 12th.
1982 was a year of rapid change, both culturally and on the charts, and with too many essential 12”’s to all be included on one volume, Part 2 features a further 49 extended, full-length, or remixed versions across four CDs from some of the most innovative and popular artists of the era. This was the year when 12" singles became an essential part of a singles’ release, creating a unique experience for fans across all genres from Disco, through New Wave, New Romantic, and to the fresh synth-driven Pop of 1982.

Minuets, sarabands, bourrées, gigues, gavottes, hornpipes and polonaises. Like many other composers, Georg Philipp Telemann (1681–1767) used dance as a foundation for his compositions and this is no more evident than in his fantasias for flute, where we find several examples. Although the music is written for neither the ballroom, theatre nor opera, references to the baroque French court dance are clear and abundant. The music therefore invites something more than a pure listening experience, also evoking movement and corporeal responses.

For the real Disco fans Ben Liebrand has selected the best 12-inches from the disco era. Moreover, he ensures that only the best available recordings are used so that the quality of the CD is excellent. For Grand 12-Inches, Vol. 14 special extended versions are selected from top artists such as Earth Wind & Fire, Donna Summer, Chic, Ashford and Simpson, Shalamar and Cher. But again there are also 12-inches that have never appeared on CD before, such as "Dis Go Dis Way, Disc Go Dat Way" by Mother's Finest and "Can I Be with You Tonight" by Steven & Sterling.
