Nicole Brady's debut album invites listeners into a cinematic tale centered around a band of musicians who once played in a long Lost Palace. Collaborating with iconic musicians, Royal Scottish National Orchestra, Miles Mosley, Mark Guiliana and Lydia Ainsworth, Brady composed and produced the eight-track album in Dolby Atmos, achieving a surreal sense of immersion. The album's sonics carry on the canon of beat-making traditions and classical music, with the psychological multi-narratives reminiscent of 1960s filmmaking. At its core, the album serves as a testament to Brady's prowess in producing, composing, and performing, showcasing her keyboard skills as the foundation of this genre-defying and organically cohesive concept album.

Mark presents a complete system entitled D.R.O.P.: Dynamics, Rate, Orchestration and Phrasing.

With the June 4, 2015 release of Family First, drummer/composer/bandleader Mark Guiliana and his Jazz Quartet featuring Jason Rigby (tenor saxophone), Shai Maestro (piano) and Chris Morrissey (bass), brilliantly created a melodic and rhthymic landscape that delighted audiences and provoked rave reviews from critics. Family First marked the third release in a year on his own Beat Music Productions (following up My Life Starts Now and Beat Music: The Los Angeles Improvisations), and Guiliana is now excited to announce the companion/follow-up release to Family First, Family First: The Alternate Takes. The Alternate Takes CD offers up a new listening experience, featuring alternate takes on “Long Branch", “ABED", “The Importance of Brothers" and Bob Marley's “Johnny Was", as well as two new tunes, Guiliana's “1980", and the Quartet's version of Rufus Wainwright's “Beautiful Child".

Driven by his sonic ingenuity and percussive virtuosity, Guiliana makes a much-anticipated return to electronic music with 'BEAT MUSIC! BEAT MUSIC! BEAT MUSIC!' (out April 12). Playing the drums with computer-like precision, Guiliana eschews loops and programmed beats for the human touch, bringing some of the most talented and innovative minds in music (Jason Lindner, BIG YUKI, Tim Lefebvre) to the BEAT MUSIC collective, brilliantly fusing the synthetic and the organic.

Born in Israel in 1970 the bassist Avishai Cohen moved to New York in 1992, first making his name on the international jazz scene as a member of the late Chick Corea’s ‘New Trio’ and later of the pianist’s larger Origin group.
