La-La Land Records, Universal Pictures and Sony Music proudly present a limited edition, remastered and expanded 2-CD release of legendary composer James Horner’s (STAR TREK II – THE WRATH OF KHAN, GLORY, TITANIC) original motion picture score to the timeless 1989 baseball-themed drama FIELD OF DREAMS, starring Kevin Costner, James Earl Jones and Ray Liotta, and directed by Phil Alden Robinson. Maestro Horner’s score to this classic film is a pitch-perfect work that expertly blends synth and orchestra to create a beautiful and deeply-felt tapestry tinged with Americana. Horner’s home run of a score gets the deluxe treatment with this limited edition reissue, remastered from the original digital tapes and expanded with previously unreleased music. Stan Getz and Astrud Gilberto are those most frequently found on the album, including in their famous collaboration of "The Girl from Ipanema," the song that brought Gilberto to fame, but their other contributions capture the smooth loungey feel that bossa means to convey. Other tracks on the two-disc, 15-song compilation include Antonio Carlos Jobim's "Favela," Luiz Bonfá's "Domingo a Noite," Baden Powell's "Canto de Ossanha" and João Gilberto's "Samba da Minha Terra," which makes it, although not complete, a pretty good sampling of what the genre has to offer.

The Complete Capitol Recordings is a 1989 compilation series by American jazz musician Art Tatum. All songs are taken from older recordings done in monaural, thus its size. It was released by Capitol.

When there were bootleg albums released on compact disc, The Beatles were one of the first artists to have one of their own. Back-Track Part Two is a 74 minute CD with outtakes recorded between 1963 to 1968, which was available in pristine quality for the very first time. 30 years ago, discs like this and the Ultra Rare Trax became a huge rage.
