Executive Assistant: Iris is a six-issue miniseries published by Aspen Comics. Series writer David Wohl features his take on the concept of actual real life Executive Assistants in China, which series co-creator Brad Foxhoven heard about and then uncovered a series of articles that had been written on the subject. The articles mostly revolved around these schools that would bring in girls when they were really young and would train them in the arts of everything ranging from fighting to the etiquette of properly setting a table. After graduation, these girls, now women, would be hired by businessmen to be their personal assistants/bodyguards. Wohl expanded the idea further with the executive assistant having ninja skills… you get the idea. Further miniseries involving other characters of the storyline are planned for future release.

A number of different limited series have been published under the banner, all of which centered around British "Combat Magician" William Gravel. Gravel initially appeared in the limited series, which was followed by a sequel, . The third series was titled , which remained the name for the subsequent limited series, until the latest eponymous ongoing series. With Gravel, Wolfer became the co-author with Raulo Cáceres joining as the first of what has been described as a "revolving team" of artists. Gravel was launched in January 2008 with issue #0 which is not a preview, but is actually the opening part of this new saga. William Gravel sort of grows on you, with a creative team that's just great together. Garth Ennis is a fan. Save for issue #15, all, including the current #21, are high-quality Minutemen scans, most with multiple variant covers.
