The box set features all of the material officially released by Bowie during the so-called American phase of his career from 1974 to 1976. The boxed set, which is named after a track recorded in 1974 but not officially released until the 1990s, includes a huge set of studio recordings of some of David Bowie's most memorable tracks.

The multi-awarded french conductor, composer and arranger Franck Pourcel was very popular at the 60's and 70's for his instrumental renditions of top pop hits and also light classical music. The song "Always on My Mind" by Willie Nelson was released in the spring of 1982, the song raced to number one on Billboard magazine's Hot Country Singles chart that May, spending two weeks atop the chart. The song also did very well on Top 40 radio, peaking at number five on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and was Billboard's number one country song for 1982. Apart from its three Grammys (including Grammy Award for Song of the Year for the songwriters), "Always on My Mind" earned numerous other awards for Nelson and its songwriters, including the 1982 and 1983 Country Music Association's "Song of the Year" honors and the 1982 CMA Single of the Year

This album is an excellent example of how good recording quality can be achieved by using only two microphones (one stereo mic) recorded direct-to-two tracks tape. It was recorded by David Manley, the founder of hifi manufacturer VTL (and Manley Labs).
Although two-microphone may not be able to achieve thimbre details of each and all instruments recorded as compared to "close miking" technique, but the most important benefit is the correctness of spatial information, so ideally the listener will be able to "re-create" the soundstage as what it was in the recording room.
I would like to recommend this album for people who appreciate natural sound quality, especially for those using "fast dipole speakers" (e.g.: electrostatics or other planars)

Produced by one-time Atlantic Records ace producer Arif Mardin, features the strong vocals that awarded Benson much success in the late '70's.
