Musically, the duo presented a hybrid of the more melodic aspects of Pretty Maids’ sound mixed with elements of Eclipse, Talisman, and W.E.T., while still possessing their own identity. Following requests from fans for a follow up to the debut, the two musicians decided to give Nordic Union another shot, so after a few months production, “Second Coming” will land soon much to the delight of melodic rock fans worldwide! Every aspect of the album screams QUALITY. The songwriting is of the highest standards, the musicianship faultless, and the production top notch, crispm and clear as a bell. Ronnie Atkins continues to improve with time as he deftly demonstrates throughout the album that he knows how to use his voice effectively at any given point in a song. Heavy riffs, soaring vocals, thumping beats, and a grand ballad…this album has it all and flows perfectly with songs that are memorable, rocking, and of course, melodic. At this point, DOKKEN simply needs no introduction. The band cemented their status as one of the legendary hard rock/heavy metal archetypes of the ‘80s rock scene with nu-merous successful albums and tours, evergreen songs and music videos and a lore that will live on forever. The tumultuous relationship between band members is well documented and need not be repeated here, but what does need to be made known is that in 2016, the classic original line-up of Don Dokken, George Lynch, Jeff Pilson, and Mick Brown reunited to play the world famous Loud Park Festival in Japan.

Labyrinth, Italy’s finest purveryors of power/prog metal, held their first reunion show at Frontiers Metal Festival in Trezzo Sull’Adda on October 30, 2016. The renewed lineup played in it’s entirety, for only the second time ever, their most popular record (so far), “Return To Heaven Denied”. The landmark album was originally released by Metal Blade in 1998 and is considered by many to be one of the highlights of the power metal genre in the late ‘90s. In fact, Classic Rock included it in their list of top albums from the genre.
