The Electric Light Orchestra (ELO) are an English rock band formed in Birmingham in 1970. The band lead by songwriters/multi-instrumentalists Jeff Lynne. Their music is characterised by a fusion of Beatlesque pop, classical arrangements and futuristic iconography. During ELO's original 14-year period of active recording and touring, they sold over 50 million records worldwide, and collected 19 CRIA, 21 RIAA, and 38 BPI awards. For a period in the mid 1970s, the band saw more success in the United States, where they were billed as "the English guys with the big fiddles". From 1972 to 1986, ELO accumulated twenty seven Top 40 songs on the UK Singles Chart, and fifteen Top 20 songs on the US Billboard Hot 100. The band also holds the record for having the most Billboard Hot 100 Top 40 hits (20) without a number one single of any band in US chart history. In 2017 the classic ELO line-up have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Blue Öyster Cult is an American rock band from Long Island, New York, whose most successful work includes the hard rock and heavy metal songs "(Don't Fear) The Reaper", "Godzilla" and "Burnin' for You". The band has sold over 24 million records worldwide, including 7 million records in the United States alone. Because of their unique sound and diversity, Blue Öyster Cult has been influential to many modern bands that span many genres, and are often viewed as important pioneers of several different styles of rock music that came to prominence in the 1980s and 1990s.

Few artists have created a body of work as rich and varied as Prince. During the '80s, he emerged as one of the most singular talents of the rock & roll era, capable of seamlessly tying together pop, funk, folk, and rock. Prince is a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee who has sold over eighty million copies worldwide. He has won seven GRAMMY Awards, a Golden Globe and an Academy Award. He is also one of Rolling Stone’s “100 Greatest Artists of All Time”.

Steppenwolf is a Canadian-American rock band, prominent from 1968 to 1972. The group was formed in late 1967 in Los Angeles by lead singer John Kay, keyboardist Goldy McJohn, and drummer Jerry Edmonton. Steppenwolf sold over 25 million records worldwide, released 8 gold albums and 12 Billboard Hot 100 singles, of which six were top 40 hits, including three top 10 successes: "Born to Be Wild", "Magic Carpet Ride", and "Rock Me". Steppenwolf recorded six studio albums for Dunhill Records in the short span between 1968 and 1971. The band enjoyed worldwide success, but clashing personalities led to the end of the core lineup.

The Green Day Collection encompasses 9 studio albums from the punk rock band Green Day, including: Dookie, Insomniac, Nimrod, Warning, American Idiot, 21st Century Breakdown, ¡Uno!, ¡Dos!, and ¡Tré!.

A product of New York City's early '70s glam rock scene, Twisted Sister were eager students of the New York Dolls, with Kiss's theatrics, Slade's pop acumen, and the shock rock of Alice Cooper tossed in for good measure. Based out of Long Island and featuring the core lineup of vocalist Dee Snider, guitarists Jay Jay French and Eddie "Fingers" Ojeda, bassist Mark "The Animal" Mendoza, and drummer A.J. Pero, the group issued two critically acclaimed, under-the-radar efforts before breaking into the mainstream in 1984 with "Stay Hungry". The LP went multi-platinum on the strength of the monster singles "We're Not Gonna Take It" and "I Wanna Rock". Twisted Sister released two more albums before ceasing operations in 1988…

Mott the Hoople were an English rock band with strong R&B roots, popular in the glam rock era of the early to mid-1970s. The band released four albums on Atlantic Records between 1969 and 1971.
