A Franco-Dutch compilation of the early works of the Bee Gees, released in 1994. Bee Gees is a group whose compositions still retain their relevance after more than six decades. The band has sold over 220 million copies of records and is rightfully recognized as one of the most commercially successful projects in the history of the music industry.

Ofra Haza was quite possibly the most beloved singer in Israel's history, and one of Israel's most recognizable faces and voices worldwide. As a daughter of immigrants from Yemen's Jewish community and as an international superstar, she incorporated many styles into her repertoire. Neneh Mariann Cherry is a Swedish singer-songwriter, rapper, and occasional DJ and broadcaster. Blending hip hop with other influences, Cherry experienced mainstream success with several of her recordings. Cherry has released five studio albums under her own name. Her first, Raw Like Sushi, was released in 1989 and peaked at number three on the UK Album Chart, thanks in large part to the worldwide hit single "Buffalo Stance". Her second studio album was 1992's Homebrew. Four years later she released Man, It featured the worldwide hit single, "7 Seconds", featuring Youssou N'Dour; and "Trouble Man" a cover of a Marvin Gaye track. Another track, "Together Now", featured Tricky. In France, "7 Seconds" made number one for a record 16 weeks in 1994.

Number Ones is a compilation album of recordings by Swedish pop group ABBA, released by Polar Music in 2006. Where as ABBA Gold pulls together 19 of the group's biggest hits and most familiar songs, Number Ones is a variation on this concept, collecting 18 tracks that were #1 hits in many of the countries where ABBA were successful. In the end, only three tracks from ABBA Gold do not make the cut: "Does Your Mother Know", "Lay All Your Love on Me", and "Thank You for the Music". A limited edition, also released in the UK, includes a bonus disc with 12 tracks from ABBA's #1 albums. Number Ones is a collection of all the international #1 hits on one DVD.
