4 4 For Four

Cyber-physical systems (CPS) are one of the key concepts of Industry 4.0. Despite their great potentials for industrial value creation, there are challenges, such as a significant increase in complexity, as a result of which the development status of Industry 4.0 is behind expectations. This book addresses this issue with the following research design: In addition to providing a comprehensive foundation of industrial CPS and Industry 4.0, four studies are conducted, each consisting of an exploratory research part and a design science research (DSR) part. In doing so, four perspectives are directed at the topic of industrial CPS: A systemic, a stakeholder-centered, an organizational and a holistic. In conclusion, the contributions are integrated in a summary and the artifacts are incorporated into an overarching methodological framework. Thus, theoretical contributions are derived and concrete practical recommendations for the main target groups of organizations, educational institutions and international delegations provided.

This edition contains not only the original album, but a new 5.1 mix by Steven Wilson which was done in conjunction with Roland Orzabal, as well as all the relevant B-Sides, alternate mixes and around 60 minutes of previously unheard demos and live rehearsals. The set is housed in a shoe box style box (similar to the other 2 releases) with an extensive booklet, with new interviews by Super Deluxe editor Paul Sinclair with the band and other players on the album. Also contains the tour program.

Straddling the line between sunshine pop and easy listening, Introducing the Four King Cousins is as whitebread as you'd guess from the cover picture of four blondes in white dresses. The harmonies are accomplished but fairly soulless, and the arrangements right out of late-'60s variety television which, as it happened, the Four King Cousins had some experience with in their appearances as part of The King Family Show series. The selection of material isn't too imaginative, either, opting mostly for covers of well-known songs of the mid- to late '60s by the Beatles, the Beach Boys, Bacharach/David, Lesley Gore, and the Monkees, as well as the standards "It's All in the Game" and "Let's Get Away from It All."

When it was time for Four Year Strong to prepare their sixth album, Analysis Paralysis, they needed some time to get back to their core core. Four Year Strong's signature sound - pop-punk energy, deft riffs and biting hardcore spirit - brought them to the forefront of the underground in the late eighties. Vocalist/guitarists Dan O'Connor and Alan Day then completed almost 80% of the album within a month, such as the menacing "Aftermath / Afterthought", where metal meets industrial. They fused burning hardcore rhythms with melodic 90s alt-rock ("uncooked"), tried their hand at raw reggae ("out of touch") and fluctuated between vibe-heavy synths and thunderous breakdowns ("STFIL").
