A wise man once said that it doesn’t matter where jazz goes as long as it takes the tradition with it. One artist that understands this concept well is Swiss double bass player Dominik Schürmann. On his album titled “Moons Ago”, to be released on the 25th of March 2022 on Mons Records, Schürmann presents 12 tracks featuring original compositions that stylistically pay homage to the jazz legends of the 1950s and 60s.

Paul McCartney is to release a massive seven-inch singles vinyl box set next month. The 7″ Singles contains 80 vinyl seven-inch singles, starting with 1970’s ‘Another Day’ and working through the decades to ‘Women and Wives’ from 2020’s McCartney III.There are 65 recreations of singles/promos using restored artwork from 11 different countries. Additionally 15 singles are included that have never before been issued on seven-inch. These are mostly digital-only releases or songs that were for other reasons not issued on seven-inch.
