Cardboard sleeve box set release from Bruce Springsteen contains five albums released from "Tunnel of Love" (1987) through "The Ghost of Tom Joad" (1995) as well as two EP works "Chimes Of Freedom" & "Blood Brothers." All albums are remastered for this release by Bob Ludwig and Toby Scott. Comes with a deluxe booklet. Each mini LP faithfully replicates it's original vinyl design. Contains 60-page booklet with rare photos, memorabilia and newspaper clippings from the years 1987-1996.

This seven-CD box set features 95 tracks from legendary drummer Max Roach's small group, consisting of the 1956-1960 recordings for Emarcy and Mercury Records, as these noteworthy sessions also represent the drummer's post Max Roach-Clifford Brown Quintet output. In 1956 the jazz world witnessed the tragic and untimely deaths of the great trumpeter Clifford Brown and pianist Ritchie Powell. Within these seven CDs, we find Roach maintaining his assault on jazz along with trumpeter Kenny Dorham, pianist Ray Bryant, and the drummer's bandmates from the Clifford Brown years, tenor saxophone giant Sonny Rollins and bassist George Morrow.

Being familiar with some of his work (basically the hit songs) I had no idea of the legacy this brilliant man has left behind. To my complete surprise this (ridiculously low priced) box set opened a new musical world before my ears and from the very first listening I have felt madly and hopelessly in love with Serge Gainsbourg's music. The quality of these recordings is matched by the quality of sound. The remastering is top notch and superior to most digital transfers heard today. I only wish this incredible set had been released on vinyl as well.

Pink Floyd have surprised fans with the release of a dozen live albums documenting some of their gigs from the early ’70s. The 18 LPs were added to streaming services this week with no prior announcement, spanning the 1973 year.
