The Analogue Space Years '69-'73 is a definitive overview of Tangerine Dream's early, formative years, collecting highlights from the group's first four albums (Electronic Meditation, Alpha Centauri, Zeit, and Atem). Though this wasn't their most consistent or effective period, and their mid- to late-'70s work is far more essential, it's a handy way for curious fans to discover essentially everything they need to know about Tangerine Dream's early career.

Simply put, this box set is a reissue of Tangerine Dream's first four albums. Nebulous Dawn: The Early Years includes Electronic Meditation (Ohr, 1970); Alpha Centauri (Ohr, 1971); the double-disc Zeit (Ohr, 1972), and Atem (Ohr, 1973). Also enclosed in the three-disc package are the A- and B-sides of the single "Ultima Thule" (in two parts), released in February of 1972, and lastly, the very beginning of Edgar Froese's first band the Ones.

Che’Z Enrique Collins (born January 1, 1990), known as The Enigma TNG, is an American music composer and YouTuber. Before becoming “The Enigma TNG,” Che’Z created older original tracks as a young teen. Gaining inspiration from artists such as Skrillex, Deadmau5, The Birthday Massacre and many others, he began creating his tracks in FL Studio.

In October 2000, the forthcoming TD production, i-Box, was announced on TDI's web site with the following statement: "For the first time ever, material from all four of the band's major creative periods is compiled in one box set. Tracks from the Pink Years, the Virgin Years, the Blue Years and the Melrose Years are brought together on six CDs to form a definitive overview of two decades in the oeuvre of a band that shaped the history of popular music.".
