Alexis Jordan

Born in Varna (Bulgaria). Studied at the Academy of Music in Sofia, with Dmitri Bashkirov at the Tchaikovsky Conservatoire in Moscow, with Alexis Weissenberg and at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique in Paris. Awarded prizes at the Moscow Tchaikovsky Competition and at the Concours Marguerite Long – Jacques Thibaud. Appearances in major European concert halls – the Wigmore Hall in London, the Alte Oper Frankfurt, the Leipzig Gewandhaus or the Salle Gaveau in Paris, and at the Vienna summer festival “Klangbogen”.
