The relationship between family patriarch Cruz Treviño Martínez (Fernando Soler) and his son, Silvano (Pedro Infante), unravels when Dad flaunts his philandering with young beauties – including Silvano's ex-girlfriend (Dalia Iñiguez). While Cruz runs around acting like a young buck, Silvano tries to end the affair in this classic Mexican drama also starring Andrés Soler and Amanda del Llano. Es una película bastante buena, en donde el padre (Fernando Soler) es el clásico hombre machista e impositivo y que está acostumbrado a hacer lo que le venga en gana y no se da cuenta que su hijo (Pedro Infante) ha crecido. Divertida historia ranchera.

The New York Community Choir began in the early 1970s as an offshoot of the Isaac Douglas Singers, initially including some 100 members under the direction of Benny Diggs. Definitely a gospel ensemble, NYCC developed a style that also gave secular R&B, soul, and pop songs a spiritual dimension; bridging Saturday night and Sunday morning, as it were.

Although Bruel aspired to be a football (soccer) star as a youth, he decided to pursue singing after seeing Michel Sardou in 1975. His first success came as an actor, however, in 1979's Le Coup de sirocco. He continued acting in films, on television and in the theater while pursuing his singing career. His first single, "Vide" ("Empty"), released in 1982, was not a success, but the follow up, "Marre de cette nana-là" ("Fed up with that chick"), was a hit.

Dianne Alvero (Bea Alonzo) seems to have a happy family. She and her mom, Amanda (Lorna Tolentino), has just renovated their house, her younger siblings are doing great at school, and her boyfriend is already preparing for their future together. But everything in her life shatters when her dad, Franco (Christopher De Leon), returns after ten years of being with his mistress.
