Al Di Meola's "Twentyfour," is a testament to creativity. Conceived during the tumultuous times of the pandemic, what started as a simple acoustic project evolved into something much grander. Al's initial intention to craft a reflective acoustic album on the challenges of the time expanded exponentially as he found himself unable to resist the allure of boundless musical exploration.

Consequence of Chaos is an album by Italian-American jazz fusion and Latin jazz guitarist Al Di Meola, released in 2006. The album features guest appearances by Chick Corea, Steve Gadd, John Patitucci and Barry Miles.

Elegant Gypsy was a follow-up album to Di Meola's debut release, Land of the Midnight Sun. The distinctive music on the album is a speedy fusion of jazz and rock, with lightning-fast guitar riffs intermixed with lyrical acoustical passages. The songs include explorations of Latin music themes, including acoustic genres like flamenco. The album won an annual award for Best Guitar Album in Guitar Player Magazine.

Super Session is an album conceived by Al Kooper and featuring the work of guitarists Mike Bloomfield and Stephen Stills, released on Columbia Records in 1968. Bloomfield and Stills do not play together on the album, with tracks including Bloomfield on side one, and those including Stills on side two. It peaked at number 12 on the Billboard 200, and has been certified a gold record by the RIAA.

This year is the 25th Anniversary of Al Basile's Sweetspot label, and B's Time is it's 20th release. B's Time is a career retrospective, featuring 17 songs from Al's solo CDs, remastered using the most up-to-date technology by Glenn Halverson at his Sonic Hill Studio in Ooltawah, Tennessee. The songs have never sounded so good, and many are from releases early in Al's career, before he became much better known following his 8 Blues Awards nominations starting in 2010. Though they originate from a 25 year span, they sound completely contemporary, showing that Al's work is timeless, and that his output has been remarkably consistent since the beginning.

Coming as the fourth release from BBE Music's Middle Eastern Heavens series of re-issues of albums by Lebanese maestro Ihsan Al-Munzer, Orientalissimo Vol. 2 is a collection of Al-Munzer’s progressive synth-led rearrangements of Armenian popular, traditional and folklore melodies. In addition to these signposts of Armenian culture the album also features tracks originally released by Armenian singer Yorgantz as well as a handful of melodies credited to Armenian accordionist Bernard Dededjian.
