If any single song sums up Status Quo in the hearts and the minds of the millions, it's "Down Down." Other songs may have been bigger, others may have more resonance, and some ("Rocking All Over the World " comes to mind) may be so permanently ingrained that it's hard to remember that Status Quo cut anything else. But, if you want to nail the very essence of Status Quo, only "Down Down" will do. It was their first British number one and their first all-time classic. And it was also their first grinning, winking acknowledgement that not only was there a formula to the records they made, but they were not afraid to list its ingredients. Anthrax is an American heavy metal band from New York City, formed in 1981 by rhythm guitarist Scott Ian and bassist Dan Lilker. The group was considered one of the leaders of the thrash metal scene during the 1980s and is one of the "Big Four" thrash metal bands with Metallica, Megadeth, and Slayer; Anthrax is the only one of the four from the East Coast. Gore is the eighth studio album by American alternative metal band Deftones, released on April 8, 2016 by Reprise Records. Its release was met with critical acclaim, debuting at No. 1 on New Zealand and Australia's top album charts and No. 2 on the US Billboard 200; it is the band's fifth album to debut within the latter chart's top 10 and is their highest-charting since their self-titled 2003 album. The album was noted for its creative tension between frontman Chino Moreno and lead guitarist Stephen Carpenter, which was described by Rolling Stone as Moreno "playing Morrissey to the guitarist's Meshuggah."

Resonate is the fourteenth studio album by English hard rock singer Glenn Hughes. The album was released in Japan on 28 October 2016 by Ward Records, and worldwide on 4 November 2016 by Frontiers Records. Hughes has said of the album: "It's possibly the heaviest record I've ever made. I don't want to confuse it with horns-up heavy; it's not metal. But it's definitely f–-ing heavy. It's dense. It's dark. There's some aggression on this record. Every bloody track is begging to be played live." All tracks written by Glenn Hughes, except track 12 which was written by Gary Moore.
