Applied Numerical Mathematics

This two-volume set, LNCS 13826 and LNCS 13827, constitutes the proceedings of the 14th International Conference on Parallel Processing and Applied Mathematics, PPAM 2022, held in Gdansk, Poland, in September 2022.
The 77 regular papers presented in these volumes were selected from 132 submissions. For regular tracks of the conference, 33 papers were selected from 62 submissions.

This multi-author contributed proceedings volume contains recent advances in several areas of Computational and Applied Mathematics. Each review is written by well known leaders of Computational and Applied Mathematics.

This book offers an in-depth verification of numerical solutions for differential equations modeling heat transfer phenomena, where the smoothed particle hydrodynamics (SPH) method is used to discretize the mathematical models. Techniques described in this book aim to speed up the convergence of numerical solutions and increase their accuracy by significantly reducing the discretization error.
