Britain is in in the middle of a knife-crime crisis, with zombie knife attacks, stabbings caught on CCTV in fast-food restaurants and shopping centres, horrific injuries being dealt with by trauma medics, and police forces dealing with multiple knife homicides. There were more than 40,000 knife offences recorded last year and already in 2019 there have been a reported 45 stabbings in London alone. Former Met Commissioner Bernard Hogan-Howe examines why there has been a rise in knife crime and asks what Britain needs to do to get the problem under control.
