Documentary following 18-year-old model Connor Newall as he travels in Europe and to New York on various assignments. Turning his back on a potential career in the Govan shipyards or the British Army, Connor instead travels the world, often on his own, fulfilling the demands of a punishing schedule. Keeping in touch with his family when he can, Connor shoots with top photographers, is dressed by the best stylists and parties with celebrities. This documentary - part of BBC One's Our Lives series - examines his fast-paced life in the modelling world and also looks at whether his home life in Govan is moving on without him.

Best known for his work in collaboration with director Tim Burton, composer Danny Elfman created one of the most distinctive bodies of work in contemporary film music, bringing his talents to a dark fantasy world populated by superheroes, monsters and freaks. The son of novelist Blossom Elfman, he was born May 29, 1953 in Amarillo, Texas. Raised in Los Angeles, he and brother Richard relocated to France in 1971, where he joined a theatrical group. Elfman subsequently moved on to Africa, returning to the U.S. only after battling a bout with malaria; he then reunited with Richard, who had directed the 1980 film The Forbidden Zone and asked Danny to compose the score. Assembling a band dubbed the Mystic Knights of Oingo Boingo, Elfman recorded the movie's soundtrack.

More than 20 years after the Bosnian war ended an international court is about to deliver its verdict on the genocide case against Bosnian Serb army commander, Ratko Mladic. Mark Urban has been to Bosnia and discovers a country still haunted by its past. Some viewers may find parts of this programme upsetting.

Dubbed by Arturo Toscanini "the greatest voice of the 20th century," Mario Lanza was one of America's most successful singers and movie stars in the years immediately following World War II. Born Alfredo Arnold Cocozza on January 31, 1921 in Philadelphia, he was the son of Italian immigrants, adopting his stage name from the masculine form of his mother's maiden name, Maria Lanza. From the age of 15, he studied to be a professional vocalist, later signing to Columbia as a concert singer; however, his career took a left turn in 1943, when he was drafted into the U.S. Army. Billed as "the Service Caruso," Lanza performed for his fellow infantrymen and also sang in the production of Winged Victory; upon his return from duty, he relocated to New York, where he performed concert dates and appeared on radio.

Jon Lamanna co-founded The Alpha Fire last year. The Seneca Falls vocalist already had become a familiar face on the regional music scene, having performed with Cry to the Blind for several years. However, he had no idea how quickly his new act would take off. Clear Channel Radio and Cumulus Media, companies that own 453 radio stations nationwide, work together to support unsigned rock bands across the country. Dozens of those stations, including Syracuse-based 95X, participated in the neXt2rockRadio contest, which pitted unsigned bands against each other in a grand battle for the top prize: a record deal with Big Machine Label Group.

Bones is an investigative drama following the exploits of Dr. Temperance Brennan (Emily Deschanel), a top forensic anthropologist. Dr. Brennan heads up a team at the Jeffersonian Institute that works to identify remains that cannot otherwise be identified by traditional means. She also works hand-in-hand with law enforcement organizations, using her unique talents to see past the obvious and find the hidden clues others may not see. Special Agent Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz), a former Army Ranger Sniper working in the FBI’s Homicide Investigations Unit, teams up with Dr. Brennan, or “Bones” as he soon nicknames her, and they often clash on how best to approach a case. Booth and his no-nonsense attitude towards scientists — “squints” as he often calls them — finds him preferring to get answers from witnesses and investigations, but working with Dr. Brennan he comes to see that the science behind the crime is often just as important as the witnesses. Dr. Brennan’s team includes Dr. Jack Hodgins (T. J. Thyne), a forensic scientist specializing in entomology and biological and geological trace evidence; Angela Montenegro (Michaela Conlin), Dr. Brennan’s best friend and a facial reconstructionist; Cam Saroyan (Tamara Taylor), the Jeffersonian coroner; and Lance Sweets (John Francis Daley), an FBI psychologist who lends his unique behavioral analysis background to the investigations.
