Singer/songwriter Jon Bellion makes contemporary pop that mixes R&B, hip-hop, and indie rock influences. Born on Long Island, New York, Bellion grew up focusing on his love of basketball. However, in his junior year of high school, his long-gestating love of music, spurred on by such influences as Timbaland, Pharrell Williams, J Dilla, and Eminem, came into bloom after he began writing songs on his brother's keyboard. After high school, Bellion enrolled in the music program at Long Island's Five Towns College, where he ensconced himself in the vibrant local music scene.

"Loved Me Back To Life" offered Dion the chance to work with a team of exceptional producers and songwriters including Ne-Yo, Diane Warren, Tricky Stewart, Stevie Wonder, Eg White, Daniel Merriweather, Babyface, Audra Mae Butts, Play Production, Eman, Janis Ian, Danny Mercer, Andrew Goldstein, Shaffer Smith, Jessi Alexander, Tommy Lee James, Corparal, Sauce, Kyle Townsend, Dana Parish, Andrew Hollander, Aaron Pearce, Kuk Harrell, and Walter Afanasieff. The album’s single and title track was written by Sham & Motesart and Sia. In addition, Ne-Yo and Stevie Wonder lend their incredible talents as Dion’s duet partners.

"True" is the debut studio album by the late Swedish DJ Avicii. It was released on 13 September 2013 on CD and vinyl through PRMD Music, and Island Records. Avicii said that sonically, the album would move away from his electronic dance and house music sound on previous records, by incorporating elements of other genres such as country music. True was preceded by the release of the Aloe Blacc-assisted and Aileen Marie Quinn-written "Wake Me Up!" that featured a rare Marantz Enhanced Digital Stereo audio track and topped several charts around the world, and "You Make Me", which features vocals from Swedish artist Salem Al Fakir. The album has been commercially successful, peaking within the top ten of at least ten countries. True debuted at number two in the United Kingdom during September 2013, and has subsequently re-peaked at number two in February 2014.
