is actually a mini-series that exists as a story arc within the ongoing Wolverine series of Marvel Comics. It started last June 22, 2009, with the "Dark" title appended to . As the ongoing Wolverine serves to document what the title character did in his time away from the X-Men, so does in that it chronicles the solo adventures Wolverine's son Daken embarks on when he’s not out with Norman Osborn’s . Like Andy Diggle's , the fun of this comic is in seeing a devious bastard play the role of a hero and doing it pretty badly. Daken as Wolverine, like Bullseye/Hawkeye, isn't even trying to live up to his namesake. He's just doing his own thing, playing his own manipulative game, within the context of the Norman Osborn-led Dark Avengers. Because not only does Daken have Wolverine-ish powers, but he can also subtly influence the emotional response of those around him. Issue #76 is the second part of the story arc, "The Prince."

The next spectacular chapter in I AM AN AVENGER comes at you with fan-favorite writer Roberto Sacasa leading the charge: By day, Ben Grimm is a member of the Fantastic Four; by night, he is one of Luke Cage's New Avengers. Except...it's never that cut-and-dry, is it? Where do your allegiances lie when both teams need you and one team is your family? Avengers across New York engage in a long-forgotten battle--one that Firestar and Justice can end if they're willing to pay the price! Ms. Marvel and Spider-Woman recall their days of past glory, while looking forward to the future (and beating the snot out of punks.) And Tony Stark learns not to mess with teenaged angst, especially when it’s “Stature”-esque in scale! --

Pebbles is an extensive series of compilation albums in both LP and CD formats that have been issued on several record labels, though mostly by AIP. Together with the companion Highs in the Mid-Sixties series, the Pebbles series made available over 800 obscure, mostly American "Original Punk Rock" songs recorded in the mid-1960s - primarily known today as the garage rock and psychedelic rock genres - that were previously known only to a handful of collectors. In 2007, the release of the Pebbles, Volume 11: Northern California CD marked the final album in the Pebbles series (curiously, Vol. 12 had been issued in 1999).
Though 1972's Nuggets compilation reawakened listeners to the sounds of mid-'60s garage rock, it only focused on the tip of the iceberg…
