Rafaell Altino takes his art to various parts of the globe as a soloist and chamber musician. In addition, he has served as the principal violist of the Odense Symphony Orchestra since 1997. A strong advocate for contemporary music, his latest album focuses on a significant group of contemporary viola pieces composed by women born or based in Brazil. Presenting BRAZILIAN WOMEN COMPOSERS: MUSIC FOR VIOLA, featuring works by Marisa Rezende (1944), Ilza Nogueira (1948), Silvia de Lucca (1960), Tatiana Catanzaro (1976), Rami Levin (1954), and Jocy de Oliveira (1936).

In Brazilian Music for Oboe and Piano, oboist Alexandre Ficarelli and pianist Marcos Aragoni present a refined selection of works by Brazilian composers active in the 20th and 21st centuries. These composers include Camargo Guarnieri, Osvaldo Lacerda, Ernst Mahle, Mario Ficarelli, and Liduino Pitombeira.

It was in the midst of the pandemic, devoting herself to personal studies, that Olga Kopylova-titular pianist of the São Paulo State Symphony Orchestra (OSESP) since 2000 – approached the work of the post – romantic French composer Cécile Chaminade (1857-1944), with whom she established a strong bond of admiration and recognition.

A fantastic recording of a live concert conducted by Carlos Chávez in May 1940 at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. The program representis an important period in Mexican history, and ranges from a special arrangement of music for Aztec instruments of the 16th century to the popular Huapangos, the gay love songs of the Mariachi and the traditional Yaqui music.

In 2023, Brazilian cellist Raïff Dantas Barreto and Russian pianist Anastasiya Evsina came together to produce an album entirely dedicated to composer Sergei Rachmaninoff, in celebration of his 150th birthday. ‘Rachmaninoff: Cello Sonata, Op. 19 & Romances’ highlights the vocal nuances of the Russian composer’s melodies, while exploring some of the most significant works in the repertoire for these instruments.
