Originally released in 1982 this was the fourth solo release [also known as Security] featuring the bass & stick skills of Tony Levin and VDGGs Peter Hammill providing backing vocals on three songs.

Goldfrapp are an English electronic music duo from London, formed in 1999. The duo consists of Alison Goldfrapp (vocals, synthesiser) and Will Gregory (synthesiser). Named after a joint-rolling technique, the British band Toploader evokes the hazy, feel-good vibe of the '70s with their keyboard-driven white soul anthems. Keyboardist and vocalist Joseph Washbourne, guitarist Dan Hipgrave, bassist Matt Knight, and drummer Rob Green were friends who, while hanging out night after night in their local pub, decided to form a band. In 1997, after the addition of second guitarist Julian Deane to the lineup, Toploader was born; the following year, the band was signed to Sony's U.K. division. In 1999, with a style reminiscent of the Faces, the Rolling Stones, Stevie Wonder, and Goodbye Yellow Brick Road-era Elton John, Toploader found themselves supporting former Jam frontman Paul Weller on his European tour. In May of that same year, the driving single "Achilles Heel" was released to favorable responses, and Toploader secured spots performing at both the Glastonbury and Reading festivals. Late 1999 saw the release of the second single, "Let the People Know," a joyous, dance-heavy tune which garnered the band comparisons to Jamiroquai. In February 2000, the band would release their most successful single yet, the George Drakoulias-produced "Dancing in the Moonlight," which would remain on the British charts well into 2001. In May 2000, Toploader's first full-length album, Onka's Big Monka, debuted at number five on the British charts and shortly thereafter, the band appeared on the popular television show Top of the Pops alongside Oasis and the Charlatans UK. Their fourth single, "Just Hold On," was released in August 2000

"Everyday Life, Everyday People" is the ninth album of the Californian group Slightly Stoopid, who recreate the relaxed sound of the West Coast with their mix of folk, reggae, hip-hop, funk and punk. Slightly Stoopid formed in the mid-1990s starting to release punk-tinged and surf-inspired albums. 2005s Closer To The Sun (2005) broadened their musical palette further and featured collaborations with reggae artists such as Barrington Levy and Scientist, before 2007s Chronchitis provided their first Billboard hit album (no. 55 debut, no. 2 indie chart).

This CD documents Foods UK 2000 Contemporary Music Network tour for the Arts Council of England and includes live highlights and studio performances of works the commissioned by the Cheltenham International Festival 1999 and Bath Music Festival 2000. The remaining pieces are group improvisations. This booklet contains the tour program and the selection of pure organic and genetically modified music is a lasting memento of a memorable musical event. The long-awaited 32-disc boxed set of Robert Fripp in the studio and in concert 1977 - 1983 will be released on 27th May 2022. The set will feature many previously unreleased tracks, outtakes and rarities as well as a number of tracks appearing on CD for the first time. The largest in the series, Exposures is the ninth boxset release collecting King Crimson / Robert Fripp material from 1969 to 2008.
