Brothers Barry, Maurice and Robin Gibb - better known as the Bee Gees - are among the most successful vocal groups in music history. Few bands can claim to have stayed together for more than forty years, let alone sold more than 200 million records in that time. Along the way, they became a psychedelic pop group producing hits in England in the 60s, the biggest disco band in the world in the 70s, and made a late comeback as a contemporary pop act in the 90s. Their far-reaching influence extended beyond sales figures, and their sound and style was reflected in music greats as diverse as Justin Timberlake and Montreal. In "The Many Faces of The Bee Gees" we take a journey through the inner world of pop's ultimate chameleons. We'll enjoy a full live concert featuring many of their greatest hits. We'll relive their early - and rarely heard - works and rediscover their incredible catalogue through inventive re-workings.
"The Many Faces of Bee Gees" is a must-have addition to your music collection, boasting superb artwork and remastered sound. The album will not be available on streaming platforms!

Before their work on the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack made the Bee Gees disco stars, their mid-'60s material found the Gibb brothers already a few years into what would be an astonishingly long and successful career and working on more baroque, Beatlesque radio pop. While international fame met the Bee Gees with their somewhat mistitled 1967 album Bee Gees' 1st, the brothers had actually already recorded multiple records that only ever saw release in Australia for the Festival label. Morning of My Life: Best of 1965-1966 collects 24 standout tracks from early Festival recordings, none of which made it too far out of Australia. These early compositions find the band ranging from gentle folk-tinged numbers like "Butterfly" and "In the Morning (Of My Life)" to garage rockers like "I Want Home." For completists, Festival Album Collection: 1965-1967 repackages these early lost pop platters in their entirety, including all the songs from The Bee Gees Sing & Play 14 Barry Gibb Songs, Spicks and Specks, and Turn Around Look at Us.~Morning of My Life: Best of 1965-1966 Review by Fred Thomas

Their Greatest Hits: The Record is the career retrospective greatest hits album by the Bee Gees, released on UTV Records and Polydor in November 2001 as HDCD. The album includes 40 tracks spanning over 35 years of music. Four of the songs were new recordings of classic Gibb compositions originally recorded by other artists, including "Emotion" (Samantha Sang), "Heartbreaker" (Dionne Warwick), "Islands in the Stream" (Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton), and "Immortality" (Celine Dion). It also features the Barry Gibb duet with Barbra Streisand, "Guilty", which originally appeared on Streisand's 1980 album of the same name. It is currently out of print and has been supplanted by another compilation, The Ultimate Bee Gees.

Along the way they became a hit-producing psychedelic pop group in England during the '60s and the biggest disco band in the world in the '70s, and had a late comeback as adult contemporary crooners in the '90s. Their long-reaching influence extended past sales figures and saw their sound and style mirrored in acts as disparate as Justin Timberlake and of Montreal.

The debut international long-player by the Bee Gees may shock anyone who only remembers them for their mid- to late-'70s disco mega-hits, or their quirky early-'70s romantic balladry. Up until 1966, they'd shown a penchant for melodic songs and rich, high harmonies, in the process becoming Australia's answer to the Everly Brothers…

This sequel to Saturday Night Fever lacked the box office clout of the original, and the soundtrack album was likewise a disappointing seller, but it actually contains some of the better Bee Gees work of the 80s, notably the sad ballad "Someone Belonging to Someone."
